Burton and Depp's Dark Shadows 2.0---hmnnnn..

It looks rubbish and only superficial similar to the real 'Dark Shadows'. It looks like a bad style of comedy which I hoped had died out in the 90s.

It is a wasted project. Burton was the wrong choice from the start and the decisions just got worse from there. At least there are well over 100 episodes of 'Dark Shadows' to enjoy.

I had my Mom watch the trailer since she was a fan of the old "Dark Shadows" show, while she was surprised to see it as a comedy, she still enjoyed the trailer and will be coming with me and my family when we go to it in the theaters.

I was really excited about this movie and than I saw the trailer. Excitement gone.

I am sure it will find an audience. But its going to be people who are died in the wool Burton-ites, the folks who will watch Depp in anything he does, and perhaps the Twilight crowd. Then you've got the folks who will go "Oh yeah---I remember that show" when they aren't die hard DS fans.

But many die hard DS fans are puking after the trailer.
