I have both Vulcan and Stampede .......Stampede is better...trust me...it uses magazines and you can get that 35 round drum thats compatible

How far does it shoot?

I never tested the distance because of indoor range shooting, but I believe it shoots up to 50-60 feet....I have two Stampedes....one for each hand...both using the 35 round drums

the Vulcan is great just not as efficient and reload time...

Toys r us has the gun with the 35 round drum and has the bonus special where you get 2 drums for one price

My brother is into playing with his kids with these,so I couldnt resist and we get together sometimes.(Need to have a kid of my own)

That sounds like a blast! I have two smaller dart guns that I bought my son. He likes them but they're still too big for his hands.... Just a matter of time.
