He could sell 3 Droids EX preorders now = @$2400..shaft those guys with no backlash. Then actually sell them for whatever the going rate is when launched say $1100 each, so $3300 total. He ships those, gets pos feedback and pockets @$3150 after paying SS.

It would be totally out of the blue IMO, this guy just doesn't have the track record as one without morals(or at least, one who rips folks off). My friend did pay with his CC and has chargeback rights, and I believe he is going to see if the seller will refund and rebill before shipment to stay within whatever extension his CC gives him.

Thats just it though. There would be no record of shafting someone since the preorders are so far out. Im not saying ODE does this at all. He may be the best 2nd hand seller ever. You sure dont see people selling hot items at or below cost often.

Well, one way or the other, you'll either never buy from him again or you'll always buy from him. $800 shipped for the DRoids EX is a great deal for someone who missed out but getting ripped off for $800 would suck balls.

It might be true I don't post a lot but this guy with his 2000+ posts and never contributes to the community. He probably doesn't even know there is one. Supposedly buys pieces for their worth and not for the love of collecting. That's a shame real shame. Makes me just cringe inside know guys like this are out there just posing as the real thing.

Thanks bros.... I know I'm not in the loop on everything, but I really do love statue collecting both for owning cool pieces and to sell and trade if needed to get what I want. Its so much more fun than collecting toys. I noticed that it was fun for me before collecting a bunch of toy collections, but now after seeing these SS statues. It makes toy collecting feel like kiddy stuff. To me statues collecting feel so much more satisfying. Now when I see toys I feel like cool but whatever. No more shock factors anymore. But statues I still love it when a new one comes out! I really just started to back track from leaving comics and sic fi etc since I started statues a few months ago. It's been a fun trip so far. thanks to all here for so much info and keeping me update and correcting me when I've been wrong. Hope to have another great year with everyone here!

I wouldn't wish an $800 ripoff on anybody. I'd be pi$#$ed! However, if one were to get ripped off, they'd have themselves to blame, especially knowing it could happen before they placed trust in the seller. I don't even know who ODE is, but from what it seems, he's helped out several collectors in the past, so I wish CBG and Fury the best of luck. Fury has a lot less to worry about than CBG.

Edit(to stay on topic): In case my waitlist of the Ex droids converts(which is doubtful)...the lady I spoke with over at Sideshow said I can switch my Flex Pay over from the regular droids since I don't want(or can afford) both sets. Has anyone else done this before? I didn't get her name, but im wondering if they would even consider this since it is such a limited item...thoughts?

Yeah, they give you the money back then re-charge it. I've done this before also.

Most likely they won't clear the WL until nearer the release I would think or unless someone genuinely pulls out. By then you would probably have paid for it and they will just switch it over.

Credit card chargeback protection will be long expired by the time this is released. There will be absolutely no protection whatsoever - the only thing you have is hope & pray it's not a scam. If he chargeback within extension, ebay/paypal seller protection kicks in for him, you may still get your money back but will be on thin ice with ebay/paypal, they dont look kindly at chargeback after 1-2 month of paying.

I did email him too when he listed this and made a very reasonable offer that i pay a 10-20% deposit now, and the rest in full when it was ready to ship, as soon as i said deposit, never heard back from him again.

I think it's most likely a scam, at best the guy is probably desperate for short term cash and will make up some bs story then refund you at release. I mean who would buy 3x ex and not trying to flip especially when it's clear the value has went up.

The seller would lose money on this though. He has to pay the eBay fee which can only be refunded within 30 days. If he refunds the Paypal payment after that he only gets the Paypal fees back. I agree with you that this doesn't add up.

Thanks bro, I don't like getting fancy shelves because I might be moving in the future. Would hate to buy nice pricey shelves then blow them out on a yard sale. No fat girl here, I'm so picky I love skinny Or say healthy girls. Lol

Hey dude. What do you do for a living and how old are you?

I'm in my 30s and didn't go to a real college. I always hate school. But I do like investing. I just started a year ago got 6 rental properties, now trying to get into commercial properties which a whole new ball game, work in nutrition on the side, then im a trader in the markets which I love more than anything. Returns are huge at the right times but it's a gamble for anyone who does not know. The risk is very well worth the huge returns. It's really the biggest money maker for the for most lazy people. Lol I'm also into super cars hopefully will have one by early next year.
Btw I store most of my ex accessories in a separate cabinet, due to easy breakage I don't display the sabers, some ex heads, and other misc parts.
