The last two exclusives on eBay both sold for $1000. So you should definitely not pay $3,000. It looks like they will only cost about $200 more than retail.

If you want them though, I would get them shortly around the time they actually (finally) ship. Ebay will get flooded with everyone out to make a quick buck, but once they get in the hands of actual collectors they will get harder to come by, driving up the price. Moral of the story, don't **** around.

Thanks for the good words! Yes the seller was nice enough to refund me. I think this seller was good. But if it was others who knows. I got scam out of a colossus ex at 550.00 in the past. So I'm done with all eBay PO. Not worth the risk to try to save a few bucks and maybe get nothing. I learn my newbie way and it was a good lesson.

I'm also waiting to see some in hand pics of these guys. R2 looks good, but 3PO's color looks...off. Maybe the lighting is just bad in the pics on order page, but I'm not thrilled with him.
