Re: CAINE'S Custom work - leatherface test hair

Thanks guys
is that another ash just with messier hair. hope you will offer them. would make a good ed1 version
I'm trying to get a mixture of the really coiffed look and the messy hair. I also adjusted the face and eyes a bit. Really trying to capture Bruce Campbell at that age. I'm sure it will go though a few more changes.

I've had several requests for a machete so I decided to finally put one together. I just bought the new neca final chapter figures and seeing the little machetes reminded me.

-Steel blade
-sculpted handle

Thanks for looking!

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - leatherface test hair

So I'm a fan of the Friday films, as are a lot of members on this board, but my brother in laws appreciation for the franchise exists in a whole new realm of fandom. Lol. It doesn't help that his name coincides with the infamous masked villain, and his father said he was actually named after Jason. Lol. At any rate, he has nearly every piece of Friday memorabilia, so I usually like to make him something special for birthdays and Christmas. I made him a 1:1 replica of the split part 7 mask one year, and made him a collaged painting of his favorite Jason looks. So this year I thought I would make him a figure. Early WIP, I have quite a bit to do, but I love where it's going. Thanks for looking.

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - JASON WIP

caine that part 3 jason is sick, what pants and shirt did you use?

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - JASON WIP

wow...that jason is pretty damn awesome!!!.....are you still doing the metal machetes?!?!?!

Thanks guys!

Yes sir. I can do any bladed object as long as its not too complicated or ornate.

The shirt is from a soldier story jake mcneice, and the pants are from a DiD William bowman figure.

I wish the shirt was bigger, but it will do for now until I can build up some sewing skills lol

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - JASON WIP

That Machete musta been a pain in the @$$ to fabricate . Looks incredible Caine

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - JASON WIP

If you can....it would be sweet to offer this.....I can put together a Jason easy....I wish Beto would sell his sculpts but he's not....so this one would be a great chance for me to bash one up

Re: CAINE'S Custom work - JASON WIP

I'm actually using a kumik body. They're a super cheap alternative to hot toys and they have interchangeable parts. To bulk him up I sewed a fat suit together that added a little to the shoulders, torso and a hump on his back. Also, if you like the look of the pants, I used very diluted royal blue dye. Combined with the original khaki color it gave a good grayish blue pant, I may end up going darker grey though.

As for sculpt size I was actually concerned it was on the larger side lol. Ill see what I can do.

I've had this sculpt for over a year. It was actually one of the first pieces I showed when I joined. After I finish it up ill definitely post a FOR SALE thread.

Thanks guys!
