Yeah, I'm still going to get it. I've been looking forward to this game since Game Informer had it as a cover story last year.

Yeah they also said that the AI is as dumb as bricks. I was really hoping for a good one tomorrow. It is usually not a good sign when IGN waits to post a review.

I still have Drakes Uncharted (maybe no review up on that yet). I also have Mass Effect which I know will rock!

WOW! I just read the review! I am getting this one. This guy said it was the most fun he's had all year with a game. Finally the PS3 may pay off. But, I don't get acheivements!

Assassin's Creed still sounds like a winner. I've been waiting since I read about it a year ago as well. Need to go pick it up tomorrow after I get off practice or I'll have to wait for the weekend. Then toss in Mass Effect to make 6 games I need to start playing.

I'm getting really frustrated with LIVE right now. We are paying for a service and that service isn't working right now. It takes 20 minutes to get us all into one game and then half the time it ends the game a minute into it :emperor

LIVE is usually in the process of maintenance every Fall, so I wouldn't worry about it for much longer. It's an excellent service for a really good price.

I've had LIVE ever since the 360 came out and i've never had a long term problem with it. The problem with COD4 isn't really with LIVE (with the exception of last night), it's with Infinity Ward. But even them, give 'em a couple of weeks and they will fix everything. There's always bugs to be fixed.

And that's the best part about next gen gaming/online service, is that they are able to send these patches to us for software/hardware to fix these things.

yeah i've been with Live since the first days on the original box. it keeps getting better. and thats also why i keep laughing when the die hards trash it because you pay for it when Sony's is free. IMO you get what you pay for and thats why LIVE will always be better.

I agree that it's really frustrating right now, but I'm confident that they'll get it running smoothly soon.

I was at least able to reinvite or get invited, my point is that your connection crapped out and we waited for you to get back in. As far as connecting to games, it's a crap shoot, it works for me some days and for others the next. We've all tried a bunch of times to get into games and failed. Infinity Ward needs to get on that.

So let's not play, "my connection is better than yours".
