yeah Veteran on COD is crazy tough. i got through it on 4, but know for a fact that i couldn't do it on the sniper level in 5. i'd get way too pissed and just break my controllers.

After completing the game on Normal tonight it only took me about 20 min to figure out I will never have the patience to go through on Veteran. I could do it, but it would be WAY too frustrating and time consuming. I mean if you even try advance and get to cover you get shot once and die and have to start back at the last check point and go through it all over again. I am trying to "have fun" these days instead of getting overly frustrated and this would drive me nuts. It's 10 times harder than Gears 2 on Insane.

Dont do it. Trust me if you thought COD 4 multilayer was grenade fest you have not seen anything. I forget what level it was but I swear the would throw 4-5 at a time then you move and here come 5 more over and over.

I am a bit through Veteran myself and it is pretty tough. I managed to do it on COD4 and got 1000/1000 achievements but it was really tough. The Mile High Club is probably the single hardest achievement I've ever gotten.

I agree that was a major pain. I cant believe how many times i would just miss it by like 2 steps. I really think it was more luck then skill at that point. If you got unlucky and someone didnt go down or the team missed someone you had no shot in making it.

I ended up skipping that level and was like if I get the rest I will come back to that one. I read somewhere you have to hit the sniper 3-4 times to kill him.

Yep, I just played the first level and once I go into the jungle all I was doing was dodging grenades the entire time. I would go one way and here come 2. I dodge those by moving back and here comes 3 more. it was ridiculous. Not really any fun at all.
