You think SSC will make another Captain America PF? From the movie Avengers. I will probably pick this up later will not think twice to pick this up if the EX version which his holding a gun on the other hand. Face sculpt look good, they should make him little buff he look a little bit skinny but overall i think this thing look awesome.

I think they will make an Avengers Cap eventually. But who knows when.

Gotta disagree on the suit. Love the TFA suit by far. More materials used, gave it plenty of depth and color contrast. I will say the new suit looked much better in action than in the many stills I have seen of it. But the old school suit is my new fav. Maybe the new one will grow on me in time.

Gotta agree that I personally prefer the Avengers costume more, but this will definitely make a nice place holder in my collection until we get that one. I can't believe I remember how excited I was on July 4th weekend of last year to PO this piece and now, I'm looking past it already and it's not even scheduled to be delivered until mid week
Maybe once I finally have it in hand, I'll appreciate this one more, but the flamboyant pose is really making it difficult for me, especially when the Thor PF looks more stoic and Iron Man one just looks plain bad ass.

I disagree, I think the suit on this statue is much better. I do agree he could be more buff. The pose isn't my favorite here but I liked it enough to buy the EX and don't regret it.
They did a pretty good job with the production paint on this one. It's just too bad the pose ruined it from Day 1. This is one of my favorite characters ever, but I have no want or need for a Diva Cap statue that makes me hear "It's Raining Men!" in my head every time I look at it.

I passed on this cuz I just don't think the face looks like Evans. Easy pass unless they make a better avengers version. Until then my comic cap PF will suffice!

After seeing the first pictures, I think that I like the EX pose. Even if you can't see the front of the shield clearly with that pose, it seems to make more sense to have the left arm lifted up if he's using it to carry the shield. Without it, you have that fist pump pose that does or doesn't work for me depending on how I feel at any given moment. But sticking the shield on the left hand takes away any potential weirdness and makes the pose look a little more natural. I will be displaying it with the helmet, so the likeness on the unmasked portrait isn't as much of an issue for me. The costume looks like it turned out great. The base reminds me of a big chocolate chip cookie from one or two of those pictures. And I love a good chocolate chip cookie.
Now I'd like to order an Avengers Hulk PF and a Mark VII Avengers Iron Man PF.

Too bad you attach the shield on his back.
That would be cool. If the arms disconnected closer to the hands you could prob attach some thread or fishing line around his shoulder neck and hang it off his back. Dunno if that would look sloppy or not.

I personally like the pose either way. Very heroic and fitting to the character IMO.
