Okay, here's a few pics for y'all. Might take more later, but am lacking free time at the moment. Best damn PF I've bought in a long time! The paint apps are magnificent, sharp and vibrant. The details are absolutely astounding and among the most impressive I've ever witnessed in a Sideshow piece. I don't care what anyone says about the pose. I think it is heroic and fitting. No way to judge properly without actually laying your gaze upon a piece in person. The shield is actually more metallic that previously thought. It could possibly have been more so, but I think to wish that would be nitpicking. It is good as is.
Very nice Barb. He looks great. I agree 100% with the way you will display the shield. It HAS to be visible on him.
I really don't care much for cloth on my statues but I must say it looks fantastic on these maquettes. These characters look exactly how they do in the movies. I always believed that maquettes were perfect pieces for cloth costumes.
I'm so glad to hear the statue arrived with no problems. It's great seeing you pumped about receiving a great statue instead of dealing with shoddy QC issues. It is such a GREAT feeling to take a statue out of its box and be amazed at what you see. Every time that happens, I feel like I just started collecting again.

There's almost always a chance. If you really want it and don't want to risk missing out, I'd grab a reg or a secondary market EX if you can find a good deal. I have a feeling this will be pricey and hard to get in the future. Good luck, pinny!

Oh I'm sure it will, I'm on the WL too. There seems to be a lot of haters regarding the pose so I think the EX will convert for a lot of us who got on the wait list a few months ago.
