Rob Liefeld has called for Feige to be removed from his position dur to the failure of BNW :rotfl
Gi'ah Super Skrull fight was greenlit personally by Feige, and it was his idea too apparently. So yeah it's time for him to go.

And he put Harry Styles in the Eternals.

He had a good run, 6 years ago.

It had cool Hulk action but that doesn't make it a good movie :lol.

Ruffalo is **** though, post Ragnarok Hulk is ****, smart Hulk is ****, She Hulk is ****.

Just kill off the Hulk if you're not gonna do anything interesting with him.
Yes it does make it a good movie dammit!

Now let’s not be hasty. The man did a lot of good then bad. He knew marvel sold. Put a lot of b listers on the map. I’d take him over someone like avi arad. Deadpool and wolverine was a fun flick. He just needs to understand nobody wants to see z list characters anymore

And maybe get some writers.

They should have the creators of each character consulting on the movies/shows where possible, and if not then at least writers that have experience in writing some of the most beloved comic runs for said characters.

The Guardians of the Galaxy video game did this and it turned out fantastic.

Yeah, they need to respect the source material even as they adapt it. I'm not sure but I don't think Tony Gilroy was much of a Star Wars fan? Yet he's done incredible work. I think he's respected the core of the IP and pulled existing, universal themes from it to elaborate on and create depth, different from 'subversion' for the sake of it or adding to/over-complicating 'the lore'. The man understands storytelling and you need similar people to handle the MCU before it tanks any harder.

Yeah Tony Gilroy isn’t much into Star Wars. You can tell because there’s like 1 alien in the whole of Andor S1.

The latter. He’s not really telling a Star Wars story, but at least he doesn’t disrespect the source material. He transforms it into something else.
We'll have to agree to disagree here. I think he's exploring a part of Star Wars that's always been there, particularly in '77 and '80 ... but he's pulled it into the foreground.

An Empire that slaughters aliens, murders your parents and casually destroys a populated planet while bickering and jockeying for power, the desperate rebels that give their lives and their happiness for the slimmest of chances to stop them ... I understand what you're saying about a lack of aliens but the story is pulling from the very foundation of Star Wars.

It's just that along the way Filoni and others like him focused on the mysticism, faceless bounty hunters and clones while Gilroy's Star Wars has a face anyone can recognize.

I'm not saying other Star Wars characters have no depth or development, but Gilroy's approach is very grounded by comparison and the galaxy is big enough for a show to explore that.

To bring it back to the MCU, some great actors, tighter writing and a grounded, depth-driven approach could resurrect it. But generally not without involvement from the comic creators of yore.

This is why the Spider-Man 2 game was such crap story wise. They took away comic writers from the story. Then it became this crappy boring congestive story where the characters lack the heart and depth from the previous game.

Also Harry as venom 🤢

Yea we need someone like that who respects it. You don’t have to like it but respect the fans who do . Don’t get into a project you freaking hate and crap on the character or add your stupid spin on it.

Wanna know why the sonic fanbase is so successful? They erased that crap design and listened to fan feedback. That’s what every franchise should do with something that has fans.

They need comic input again and not input from people who don’t know anything about the characters. As proven with Star Wars. If you hire people who don’t like the stuff they are doing then you get a bad product

it's not the writers that are at fault, but the toxic fan base, these writers are professionals In their industry. with years of experience. trying to bring something new and unique to these properties.
toxic fandom just can't move on. they want the same 10 stories told over and over, no changes,

The media is trying to protect Feige by saying this was a Bob Chapek disaster in the making, and yes, while Chapek was quoted as saying “pump out as much product as humanly possible” I still don’t absolve Feige from this Multiverse mess.
