ASMII's costume is perfect. Kara is right - they might as well give Spidey one big eye at this point.

Yep.
The only improvement over Raimi era costumes - dark nonreflective "webbing".
And still they've ****ed up the whole point by darkening the red and blue.

Bigger "eyes" is a thing of tastes and preferenses. Also not classic by any stretch.

Tho I really liked the runners-boots hybrid.

When the raimi suit first came out I remember being captivated by how perfect it was. The reflective lenses, the raised metallic webbing , the honey comb pattern. it was all glorious.

That picture looks good but I don't trust a thing after that avengers spidey cameo fake. People are going over and beyond to create an authentic leak of spiderman. Hell its like these people are working for JJJ himself.

I like the ASM 2 version a lot more, but neither is perfect to my eyes. Raimi's eyes are too angular, and the gray webbing is distracting and too rubbery-looking, and the honey-combed pattern was weird. Also, I think the lankier body type used for ASM 2 works better for a live action Spidey.
