Anybody wish we could've gotten more Cap/Widow? Deviated from the source material? Their chemistry in TWS was surprisingly one of my favorite aspects of the movie. Then in AoU... nothing. Their relationship was reduced to, "I've seen her flirt, up close. This ain't that." Really? CW had some cool moments, namely the post-funeral scene. That said, anyone else wish they had a different dynamic?

Sam and Bucky are filling out the best friends role, Sharon the love interest, so maybe there's simply not enough time for Widow and Cap. But after TWS, I can't help but want more Cap/Widow.

Poor Thor.

I'm looking REALLY forward to seeing if they can do for Thor in IW, what they did for Cap in WS.

I wish Whedon kept the Thor vs Vision fight in AOU.

Man, MCU Thor is pathetic. He's fighting like he's some street level human hero, instead of displaying god like power when he punches and fights other characters :slap

Well, to be fair, even in the books he rarely displays his martial arts knowledge. He mostly acts like a grunt, since he knows he's virtually invincible. But yeah, MCU Thor is really, really nerfed. Oh well, with the Hulk in there and with a title like "Ragnarok", let's hope Thor finally gets a good movie. And he also lets loose...

I agree, poor Thor's power, poor Thor's costumes, poor Thor's helmet, poor Thor's love interest, poor Thor's box office. :lol

Even the human characters fare better. :slap

Yeah that fight is not good at all, I'm glad they cut it out, plus Vision looks pretty out of character too.

No man, Thor knows how to fight, they make it very clear he's well versed in combat, and even at a very young age he had fought in more battles than gods twice his age, he was trained from a very young age.

Thor is a slightly less cunning Conan (Not Arnie, from the books), he's fast thinking and has technique, he's no WW when it comes to technique but he's also not an aimless hammer when he fights, he should be like a grecoroman wrestler with a hammer.

I would have liked to have seen more on their friendship especially after everything they went through in TW.

The Russo bros will fix Thor in Infinity Wars.

More than likely, yes! :yess:

I bet Hemsworth is begging them for that to happen! :lol

"Please please please do to me what you did to Cap, Bucky and Panther!"

Real quick, I just want to say that my action comparisons are only for the "Superhero" movies.

CW doesn't automatically make From Russia with Love a bad action movie! :lol

If I want a great James Bond "action" movie I go watch Casino Royale (or one of his great older ones) and when I want an awesome Superhero movie I go and watch Blade 3, see it's that simple.

Blade 3? Blade 3 was terrible. lol If you want a awesome Superhero movie, watch Super. lol

Damn, I hate it when my Blade 3 jokes don't work. :lol

I don't know, before IW, there's still Thor 3, and that one is sounding like a real stinker.

So far it sounds like TDW x10

Thor and Hulk comedy hour. :lol

Wait......

khev where are your reviews for BvS/CW?

He's working on it.

Oh, I wasn't implying that he's not a master martial artist, just that he rarely displays it, kinda like Wolverine. Both he and Logan, due to feeling invincible, sometimes tend to "forget" their training and abillities and just **** **** up. If I've got one complaint from the MCU, it's that Thor is nerfed. I like his characterization well enough, but he's a weakling in terms of showings. But yeah, Thor's feats are quite bad-ass, even Young Thor's ones. I remember in Gillen's JiM, while very young he tamed the wildest goats, for example.

Yeah his characterization is quite alright, he has a great accent and a good voice. That's about it for me though, he doesn't look like Thor, he looks completely Anglo, and his low key beard and wig don't help.

I honestly think Thor is beyond saving in the MCU unless it's a complete revamp.
