Oh Monk had a problem with Wolverine's head falling off. The magnet not holding. I figured that the Cap might have one too, but yeah he is standing in a more up right position and there is a solid block piece that extrudes from his neck that goes into a square hole. Should have just got the damn exclusive now I'll have to either accept just owning a regular Cap PF which is better than nothing or try to get the exclusive and pay inflated prices when I could have easily paid only 279.99 USD and get 280 reward points on top of that! *big sigh*

Yes, especially after Fireside was selling CA for 212.50 USD and BBTS the most expensive at 239.99 USD.

Don't really see what the big deal is here. He has a company and is obviously trying to make a reasonable profit. If people don't like his prices then don't shop there....simple.

I am not making a big deal bro. Just saying that I agree with the person who said that his prices are prematurely inflated on a piece that isn't even selling for more than MRSP on eBay.

eBay is the best place to gage prices on the secondary market. It's pretty much the trend sender as to what things go for value wise.. most of the time.

I would understand if the regular CA's were fetching those prices on eBay already and that's pretty much your only option to get him aside from the T/S section of these forums. However, that isn't the case. And you're exactly right, I wouldn't pay that price. So I wouldn't shop there. If I know CA could be had for a lot cheaper else where, I take my business there. But that doesn't mean I would forbid myself from ever shopping on his site in the future. BBTS sometimes up their prices on certain pieces yet I still shop there. I go after what's fair value at the time on the site.

Some people take things too personally. Never said he was a bad dealer. Again, all my post implied was that it acknowledged a post someone made and agreed with it. Nothing more.

I agree with you that just because one item may be more expensive somewhere doesn't mean that you'll never shop there again. Part of the fun is shopping around to see where you can get the best balance of price and service.:chew

If you say you got on the Cap waitlist in March then there is no way you can even logically blame Monk. I got on the waitlist way before March so I know the Cap exclusive has been sold out for a very long time. Why are you passing on the blame when you can only blame yourself?

Just bugging you Rory. I did remember thinking that was part of the reason I backed off from getting the exclusive. Maybe it was another person. But I remember someone saying their Logan's head popped off and I never remembered who said that, and Monk stepped up and took the blame. Monk will even commit to saying that, so after that I just blamed him. But I was never really mad at him. I was just goofing around.

I know in the past I bought a code 3 SE X-wing from Razors Edge for less than the price of the LE(you dont want to know what those are going for now:chew ).He could have sold for same price or more but he didn't.
