Yes, right at the 12 second mark (half way through) his pistol is holstered and you can see the rifle stock.

If anything, I hope it's removable and he's able to hold his 2 pistols. I don't even ever remember seeing Rex ever hold a rifle during the show.

I've given up any hope for a helmet swap only because he'd be missing all the other small details on his season 4 armor as well as the different pauldron so not having those small details would bother me. And I highly doubt they'd include a complete armor swap system of any kind.
