Captain Rex!!!

I just picked this guy up instead of the T1 T-800 and I have to say he was well worth the buy. I can't believe the amounts of hands and posing options you get for like 100 bucks less! the paint apps on the head are amazing and probably some of the best work I have seen. All in all it's just outstanding!

You get yours through a local dealer Cadaver?

I pre-ordered mine with urbansamurai and still haven't received a shipping notice. I'm getting anxious to say the least, I want me some Rex.

I was just looking at my Rex and it is an awesome figure but is it me or is the rangefinder the wrong design?

I didn't realize that SSC partnered with Hot Toys on this one. I wonder what part of the process HT was involved in?

It's so nice, I'm afraid to take it out of the box! I might need another one.

The armor base body was developed with the help of HotToys. All clones/stormtroopers use the same base body. There endeth their involvement.

The body design and THAT'S IT. The same involvement they've had in all the Star Wars armored figures. Also HT had nothing to do with the Prometheus body, ONLY the armored body.

After seeing all of the in-hand pics, I put myself on the ex wait list after previously canceling my order due to the overabundance of star wars goodness lately (and because I was moving away from the 12" line).
Long story short, I just got notice my waitlist reservation converted!!!

I went with 200 bucks in my hand to get the T-800 and when I saw they were selling him for $230 Canadian I just couldn't do it. They also Just got Rex in so I took a look at him and seemed way more bang for my buck. Not to bash the T-800, I just can't in my right mind pay $230 for him.

I did the exact same thing! A retailer here had it for $119 and I couldn't pass it up.

Nice thanks for the reply. I guess urbansamurai's just taking their time to get them in stock, they seem to take awhile to do stuff, but it's still better I think than dealing with customs.

Gonna have to live vicariously through you guys for another week or two.

I just got mine very dissapointed joints are loose as all get out and shoulder armor isn't even straight like box photos. Gonna get it swapped out for a replacement!
