Mesa, wow that's a tiny chip. Is it more noticeable in person? I'd just get a sharpie if it were me, but I'm also known to be :cuckoo:

I'm batting like 0-3 on my last sideshow pieces I've received. This time its Carnage. Damage isn't that big of a deal, but now that I know about it, it will bother me. I finally opened mine last night, then took a really good look at it tonight. Found a chip right on the end of his blade hand.

Sucks.

I guess I'll be asking for a replacement, which sucks, because otherwise I'm very happy with it and it's low #95 EX.

Edit: Just looked closer and forgot this arm was detachable (through a pin instead of magnets, boo), so hopefully just this one arm replacement should suffice.

I think just about every blade hand has a small chip at the tip. It's actuall got such a fine point on it that its hard NOT to chip it. Mine had a tiny chip there as well, but I just dabbed it with a tiny bit of black paint and now its fine.

Isn't the arm pin and magnet? I don't remember and I don't think I'm going to pull out the arm to check. :monkey3

It looks like a pretty significant chip to me. My blade was not chipped. Easy fix with some glossy black paint but I'd still get Sideshow to replace it.

I'm about as OCD as you can get, and I think I would just touch that up with black paint.

We'll see. I spoke with CS (Jaclyn always helpful as usual) and just sent pics. I hate to be a PitA, but I don't trust myself to fix it and get the paint to match.

Just got mine and the detachable arm is chipped -surprise surprise.

To those who've requested replacements, do SS insist that the original arm be destroyed?

If so, what if the new arm is not a good color match? I've heard that these statues are being issued with slightly different shades of red. Anybody here had a replacement arm that isn't the same color red as the statue?
