Let Me In was a great movie. Imho the only good vampire movie to come out in a long time.

Not sure how I feel about this remake. I think Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore are great actresses but I'm so sick of remakes but then again, I still end up watching most of them.

Totally. So much creativity flowing through our veins these days. So many great new stories coming from the brightest minds of our time. Where does it all come from?



Ugh... as an aspiring writer, this is sickening. Hollywood is hitting every film and every franchise with remake/reboot fever. I would even go so far as to bet that Star Wars, yes the original Star Wars trilogy, will be remade/rebooted. I couldn't possibly begin to speculate why, when and where... but I'm certain it will happen in my lifetime.

Seriously, I wish people would take chances. There has got to be great stories out there that can be translated into films. I mean, I've written tons of short stories that I think are awesome and that's just in my small, miniscule corner of the world. Where the **** is the meaty hollywood stuff? Where's the talent? Where's the creative drive? GRR!
