Castle gives us Captain Mal one more time?

It's doing pretty well. And any show that can have some cops sitting around talking about a murder and then segue into Steve Martin impressions from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is A-OK in my book.

And Stana Katic is stunning.

I'm glad Castle is doing well, it's by far my favorite show on tv right now. The writing and chemistry are outstanding.

I love that they had the balls to put Fillion in the Mal costume for the Halloween episode. Very cool nod to the fans.

It really is a great show. But my favorite on tv right now is a tie between Bones and Leverage.

My wife wants the Nikki heat book for Christmas. We're both excited to see him in the Mal costume.

It's cool to see him as Mal again. It also reminds me how much I hate Fox for canceling Firefly.

and yet....shows like Dancing with the Stars, More to Love, Supernanny and tons of garbage live on! I agree Firely SHOULD still be on, god forbid anything creative and stimulating should be on TV.

Reality shows cost a fraction of the cost of a traditional drama. Even if the ratings aren't as high, it doesn't take as much to justify keeping one on.

This is probably particularly the case for a show with special effects on the order of Firefly.

I just love this show so, which of course is always a sure sign that it will be canceled so I'm glad to hear it's doing well in the ratings.
