And the Comic male bodies are drawn realistically?

For me personally I'll take the unrealistic bodies of comics on my statues then say a statue of a 90 lb nerd with glasses or 300 lb guy sitting on a couch watching tv with his belly hanging out.... And do you really want to buy a statue of a flat chested female statue with a big mole on her face and a little hair on her lip... when it comes to comic statues I'll pass on reality..

Exactly! Well said. It's like rob Liefeld said people always focus on the women being drawn too sexy. But no one ever mentions the huge unrealistic muscles on the men. I agree I would not prefer realism people in statues and comics. Comics to me is all imagination and pushing the limits of fantasy. I must say I don't like the current comics real life art style the last 5 plus years. I prefer the older art in the classic comics or the 90s image style artwork. Now it's mostly real life faces, real people in costumes, and Alex Ross style paintings. Not saying it's bad, but I personally don't like this newer trend.

I like some aspect of realism. Like Wonder Woman. She looks amazing, and definitely is built in the sense that she can totally kick my ass.

But that's as far as I'll go. Don't care for seeing these heroes under strict authentic realism.

Please no! Rob Liefeld has his huge fan base. Otherwise he would not be one of the legendary creators and record breaking comic book sales. I'm still hoping SS is listening and one day make. Liefeld art style cable, and x-force. Also many of the popular characters he's created for marvel and image. I know a few don't like his art style but many still love his art. I think I remember didn't he draw a very cool looking hulk in the past? The massive muscles worked out very good for characters like hulk, thing, etc.
As for reading comics I don't but remember I still buy them for the art and I do watch almost all animated movies and series to keep up in comics. Lately I have not bought a comic for a long time since the art is not to my liking anymore after the image guys drop out and the prices of a comic now is like 5.00 to 7.00 a book.

Remember that one was not the best. But there was some good drawing of capt in the book. The cover angle was bad. Who knows what was going on when he was drawing that cover. Maybe he had a bad day so he rushed it. If that cover was being sold I'm sure it would fetch a hefty price tag. There are many people who who kill for that original art cover. I would buy it just to own it. Imagine the attention that cover had in the forums. That's like being a owner and feeling like a celebrity with all the attention and people who has seen this. I would get it sign by the big man himself. Really no joke I would take that classic art over any of the artgerm stuff. Don't get me wrong I love artgerms artwork. I also want his art. But saying compared to Liefeld. I personally would pick Liefeld over anyone because I loved his artwork style. The only ones better in my opinion is Jim lee, silvestri, maybe Todd McFarlane, Campbell is good too. Finch has great pin ups that I do kind of like. But not many others can make me buy their artwork.
