Do figures from CC tend to stick around?

I'm interested in the figure, but Joel without Ellie isn't something I'd purchase. I'd be disappointed if this sold out before Ellie was announced / shown.

That tactic doesn't always work. If enough people don't buy Joel, the company might decide it's not worth it to make Ellie. That sort of thing has killed off lines prematurely before.

I doubt they're making him without planning for Ellie too.
