I like to watch TPM until they introduce JarJar and then I turn it off. The first 20 minutes of that movie were so promising and then suddenly... blech.

At least we always have the Duel of Fates to look forward to

That's why I tracked down a fanedit of the PT. Will be picking it up from JJJ next week.

For me, it fails at the pod race. Just too long and childish for me. Somehow I always manage to overlook Jar Jar, but I think I'm just ignoring him. Duel of the fates is great however and there are a few Star Warsy gems sprinkled throughout...

Trust me, if the PT fanedits we're getting don't work, I'll be done with the PT. I believe, though, that cutting 30+ minutes out of each film will help tremendously!

Will we be able to watch those at CVI? What medium are they on? DVD or bluray?

Yeah, well to be honest, I had all three SSEs secured via eBay last year, but the seller of the FvW flaked on me and didn't ship. PMed them here, as they are a member, but no response. Got my money back, and kept the other two pieces. Been looking pretty much the entire year, but was keeping it quite until now because I know one other person around here is looking for the same on I need. Didn't want to inflate the price any more than it needs to be...

And yeah, I know I'm crazy.

I would imagine at least Blu-ray, but isn't Phantom Menace being shown in 3D one night, or did I completely make that up? And since you all were talking Episode I, has anyone read Plagueis? I finished it a couple months ago and it blew me away. The Phantom Menace takes on a whole new meaning after reading it!

Phantom Menace 3D is being shown when we'll be seeing Kevin Smith. Always hard to juggle stuff at Celebration.

I just started reading Plagueis this week, but haven't gotten far yet. I expect to get some reading done on the plane next week, though.

Plus, yeah, I meant I wanted to see Waller's fan edits, not the 3D version of TPM, which I actually avoided successfully in the theater as well.

Plagueis is awesome ! I loved it ! Great ending and brings TPM into a new light.

It's official, Brian Muir is attending Celebration VI as an autograph guest!

He'll be signing:

Thursday - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Friday - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Saturday - 10:00am to 2:00pm

He will be one autograph coupon ($20) at the show and have copies of his book for sale at his table.
