Gang, I called Delta to find out if I could fly in one day earlier, but it's just not in the cards for me. My original fare from Vegas to Tampa on Wednesday was $240, and they wanted an additional $350 to make the small change to Tuesday! No way. So I tried to get there for the Wednesday festivities, but just couldn't. Got to spend at least one night at Mom's house. I mean the 23rd is her birthday after all, and I'm already making her get up super early just so I can get to a Star Wars convention!

Jumping from ESB to the third bonus disc of the bluray set. There's a lot on these discs which I just have not had the time to get to since their release. I will say that ESB gets me every time. It truly does deserve it's recognition as one of the best films ever made, and for me alternates between #1 and #2 of the entire Star Wars saga.

Onward...

Sure is lonely in here on a Saturday. I'm such a nerd.

I watched all six last week. Should be finishing season 3 of the Clone Wars later today.

The Making of Star Wars is quite corny and dated.

But I do remember going nuts for all things Star Wars back then.

I'm here! SOrry I was watching Hunger Games. I got a prequel-esqe feel from it. It's like all those people live in Coruscant or something. Definitely worth a watch. I'm gonna plan everything out on Tuesday (hopefully). Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my haircut yesterday and today I put my mini posters in a portfolio. Also just picked up a couple pairs of shorts. Time to start packing later today.

Our paths seem very similar. Already got the haircut, and I know I need shorts. It's so very hot in Orlando in August. So much humidity! Jeans just aren't going to cut it this time. My poster tube will be travelling to CVI empty...

I'm not bringing one. I'm just gonna let you carry mine around again. Kidding, of course. I got me one of thems retractable tubes. I think it'll work out okay.

I might bring one of my Mondo tubes, that should be good enough I think.

Mine's about 2 1/2 feet I think. Big enough for my purposes but not too tight circumference wise either. I shouldn't be filling it up too much either. Just Trevas for me right now, a Vanderstelt that I'll hand off to Avfin for another freak. Keeping it light.

Oh, and I like that mine has a strap, which I will attach to my camelback. Just like at CV.
