I'm really freaking loving it, it's like making it into the cool clique. Only the cool clique for really smart nerds who want to help people beat the crap out of cancer! Woot!

Just taking it a day at a time. :D

Congrats on being able to enjoy what you do. I'm still trying to find that place. :(

Can't wait for CVI...

350 more days!

Yep, a bit busy. Been thinking I might like an R2-KT tattoo when I complete the program, because I'm really hoping to work with children when I finally make it through.

I know, I know, she's pink! Oh well...

I would love to build one of those !

Glad you're hanging in there, buddy! :grouphug

:lecture

Congrats on being able to enjoy what you do. I'm still trying to find that place. :(

You and me both.

Unfortunately, I don't think I will ever be able to open my own movie theater or comic shop :(

You really would build an R2-KT? Or did you mean R2 unit in general. I'm almost positive there has to be one in existence, right? I think I saw her at CV, but it's a blur at the rate I went through the droid builders room.

Funny that you mention the two things I always wanted to do. I actually came very close to buying a comic shop about five years ago with a partner. Kind of glad it fell through at this point. But the movie house idea I've had for a dog's age. A one screen art house, definitely with a balcony, and beer and great snacks in the concession area. We would of course show only the films freaks are interested in.

Like the Naro Theater I spent my formative years in, in downtown Norfolk. That was where I saw a double feature of Pulp Fiction and Killing Zoe, also saw Akira there, and so many other greats I can't even think to remember them all. Loved that place!

:D

I would have liked to build that R2 to be honest.

As for the movie theater, I wanted a one screen digital. Plush seats. Reserved seating. Movie props and collectibles all around. Organist to play before evening shows. Balcony seating. Real old school stuff.

Guess it will always be just a dream.

I knew they had one at CV.

Holy crap, what a cool droid. This is the droid I'm looking for.

I knew I saw her there too, but Sunday was just a blur, well really, the whole event was kind of a blur, but having to run through the builders' room so fast was not conducive to taking it all in for permanence.

Thanks DW! :hi5:

I assume it's not your picture though, right?

Think I should get a tattoo of a pink droid? :lol

I hate the logo! That's it, I'm not going!

Yeah, right! :cuckoo:

But I would like to know about the politics over KT because I'm seriously considering the tattoo... (pm me)

VIP ticket fiasco, "improved" OT blu-ray scenes and now CVI's theme is Yoda...

This Han Solo is so badass! He can roll with a pink R2 unit.

He simply must have shot first!
