I wonder if BBTS will lower their prices...I'm going to be cancelling my Goku pre-orders from them in favor for other retailers.
 
I was thinking about cancelling my BBTS order for Alter Ego since their price is 134.99 and BBTS is 174.99 for SSJ Goku but now BBTS has both Goku figures on sale for 139.99 each.
Alter Ego is still better in price but BBTS has cheaper shipping and you can only order 2 figures from Alter Ego and I need at least 3. BBTS allows more than 2 per household so I am going to have to stick with BBTS.
What is taking SSC so long to put these up for pre-order? I would much rather buy these figures from Sideshow since they offer points and everything.
 
Huh....BBTS is offering them cheaper? Do you have to cancel and then reorder? Or will they just automatically adjust the pricing?

SSC might be working with Medicom on allocating a number of SSJ Gokus because he is supposed to be the "mail-away" exclusive. So Medicom has to deliver a bit more.

I'm glad to see BBTS lowered their price. Smart move as they would've lost most of their buyers if they didn't.
 
MAN, I don't check this board as often as I should... PICCOLODAIMAOH, you asked me earlier why I didn't consider PICCOLO a DBZ villain... and the answer is really that I DO, and I agree that he was basically the original bad-ass from DB and continued to be throughout DBZ - the reason why I said I wasn't considering him a villain was simply because I'm not giving MEDICOM any special props for making Piccolo and/or Vegeta, since their characters last the entire series (don't get me wrong, they're two of my favorite characters ever made by a human being, but for MEDICOM to impress me they're going to have to dig deeper into characters that made more brief appearances, i.e. BROLY, FUTURE TRUNKS, some version of GOHAN, a BARDOCK, etc.).

W/ the VEGETA release they need to release one SSJ version, and one Original Appearance (Saiyan Saga) version (so we've got the villain version and an anti-hero version). We need limited edition releases, too, like a BARDOCK (as I mentioned earlier) version of GOKU and a NAIL version of PICCOLO (this won't happen... but if it did, I would make mad love to all that is Medicom :mwaha)

If Medicom really wants to give me a stroke, though, they need to go w/ some villains that had no real redeaming qualities - FRIEZA, CELL, MAJIN BUU, etc. Like many others, I will get every single figure that Medicom releases, so they can choose to make a LITTLE money by releasing four characters, or they can become friggin' rich and release EVERYONE!! Give me Master Roshi and Captain Ginyu, and add a Nappa, Videl, and Salza. I'll get 'em all...
I'll sell STAR WARS stuff if I have to... that's right, I saw DBZ before I saw Star Wars... :horror

I like your idea with Vegeta, I know Medicom might not do this considering their track record, BUT how about releasing a regular "Saiyan" version of Vegeta in the blue jumpsuit with interchangeable armor. They could have the "Saiyan Saga" armor (with the tail molded down along the bottom and 'appearing' to come out from the top of his rear), the Namek/Frieza saga armor (even though that jumpsuit was more of a dark navy blue/black depending on your opinion) and finally the "Android/Cell Saga" Anti-Hero armor.

Then they could have the special Super Saiyan version with the anti-hero armor.

Got my order in as well - thanks Sideshow! This is one of Medicom's BEST looking figures...and they nailed that cartoon likeness down FLAT!
 
Well, I just canceled my orders at BBTS...

...and order them from Adam (Dark Shadow Collectibles) for $135 each!!! :chew
 
Still haven't decided yet...

Don't have the room or the cash for everything.. so I might just go for SSG and SSV. :(
