The sad thing about Medi doing this line is that everyone will be about the same size, no real scale so characters like Cell will be too short and I have a feeling that Vegeta will be too tall, etc. You can't complain about the look of them though!!

In the picture with them side by side, he appears to be much taller than Goku... could just be the angle or the stances, but since they both have pretty much the same stance, it looks to me like Pic is a good head taller.

Now this pic is too extreme because Cell is stretched a bit but the relative size is shown:

Either way, I'm sure it'll be a while until they get to him.

I'm hoping that MediCom decides to cash in a variant opportunity and offer him up sooner than later.

When I got into DBZ, unfortunately, they always played the Buu saga, which I hear it wasn't the best one. I pretty much missed out on the previous sagas. Opinions on those?

The Cell saga (the whole series I think) is out on DVD now.. is it worth getting?

You're kidding, right? Have you seen the Kenshiro figure? He is like 13" tall. There is a comparison pic on Mediworld that has Kenshiro standing next to a Hot Toys Predator and he was almost the same height.
Have you seen the Full Metal Alchemist figures? Ed, Al and Roy are all different heights.
Have you seen the photo a few pages back from the Toy con in Tokyo? Piccolo is clearly taller than Goku who is clearly taller than Gohan.

Not to pick on you or anything, I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am just here telling you you're wrong. I am positive they will be correct in scale.

As much as Medicom has a difference in height with other figures, amongst their own releases they are pretty much dead on with a few exceptions, Venom I am looking at you.

Piccolo is only slightly taller than Goku and Gohan is a VCD so that isn't a fair comparison. Good to know that there is a zeal in the defense.

If you look, Goku's head is at Cell's chest/beginning of the neck especially if you remove the hair and the horns. Although from the post above....I'm not worried.

Thank you for your honesty. Hopefully the examples I listed might change your opinion when it comes to Medicom only putting out one scale.

Yes, Gohan is probably a VCD but like Yoda, Wickett and the Jawa, Gohan is a 1/6 scale VCD so the comparison is valid.

Both Piccolo and Goku are in fighting stances so it is tough to see just how much taller Piccolo is but the point is it is easy to see he is larger than Goku.

Mike, you do sound like a logical person and I can appreciate that, here is a pic to help the great scale debate. I am guessing Piccolo will probably be around the same height.

His arms look like Hot Toys rubber suits to hide the joints.

I am really excited about this figure. I think Piccolo, along with Cell, has the best body design in the Dragon Ball Universe and one of the best in all of pop culture. Thankfully it looks like Medicom is going to do Piccolo right, giving all the alien nuances of a Namek. I might have to buy a few to make original Piccolo Daimaoh and Nail figures.
Hopefully he comes with a second head because from these pics it doesn't look like the turban is removable. Keep 'em coming, Medicom. I can't wait for a Vegeta or even better, Perfect Cell.

dude piccolo looks huge compared to goku....

Medi has done spawn which was also huge. I doubt they will be all the same height. thats just dumb if they do that. Why would they bother putting young gohan as a VCD too then?

A HUGE plus that medicom IS doing this line is that they never shy away from making custom bodies for each character.

If there's one thing medicom does almost perfectly, it would have to be their anime figures!!! I've yet to see one of their anime figures that's everything but perfect (size and sculpt).

Huh....Piccolo will be to scale. Hurray! I'm surprised though that all reports indicated Vegeta to be next and we see both Piccolo and Gohan first.

He's a VCD, he'll have virtually NO articulation.
