You could definitely do plastic chains that look realistic. Or better yet, just package the metal chains separately for the end user to put on.

I am sure that this topic was on the table of SS on a higher level.

Chains vs. $. And we know who wins.

I could live with 40$ price reducting for the GR without chains so i can buy them here.
