I love seeing in progress pics like this! Fantastic work as always. It looks like you figured out the Nikto Lathe?s headgear?

The Giran is looking pretty good!! How are you attaching the chest armor? I?m making mine with magic sculpt and I was going to attach it kinda like how the SS stormtroopers did. Glue and a small swatch of fabric to connect the two. Love to see what you?re doing here Chris. Those pilots are really coming along!

Hoping to get some work done on Giran and Red 4 today.

Yeah, love the WIP pics.:clap And that B-wing looks awesome.

We should hit up the guy that makes the 1/6 helmet decals to do proper Luke decals to replace the incorrect SSC ones. If the rebel insignia/anchors were more crimson/plum in color and bigger it would be great. I wonder if he takes requests. The SSC helmet is a decent sculpt, its the logos that are off.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I have the Nikto headgear mostly done, I just need to sort out the detailing/fur on top.

Thanks. The chestplate is made of resin.

Thanks. The dye took real well to the Sideshow flightsuit. I am very pleased with it.

Yeah, I did a total repaint of my Luke X-Wing helmet.

The guy who does the decals does take requests. He did the Biggs Darklighter set for me. I have asked him to do Red Leader. It does take some time though. It just depends on how much stuff he has queued up beforehand.

Yeah, I love that repaint. That's the more plum-type color.

Would be great if he could do the proper rebel insignias. I'd also love a set of blue "anchors/insgnias" too for that generic ANH pilot and also for Dak Ralter.

And what dye did you use for the SSC suit? Just a Rit powder? I still think I may attack a b-wing pilot. It's a really distinctive look. Is the rest an Enaud kit is it?

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

Yes, I used a Rit powder dye for the B-Wing flightsuit. Yes, the rest is a kit from Enaud.

I was able to make progress on Garin tonight. I repainted the sculpt, added hands and put together the leg guards. Up next will be the waist pouches, ankle wraps and shoe details. Then will be touch up paint work and weathering.
