Thanks Stryker, Heiko.

Wow, looks fantastic!

I?m not entirely up to speed on the differences between the Mando Tuskin Raiders, and the OT versions. What are the major differences?

I had the idea the other day that the reason HT didn?t weather the Mando Tuskin Raiders was so that you could buy multiples and weather them uniquely, to make them look like unique individuals.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

The prequel, OT and Mandalorian Tusken Raiders all are different. The most notable differences are the head wraps/masks and the outer robes.

I do display my Mandalorian with my OT Tusken Raiders, they look great together.

Chakaman, question: have you ever found anything that will make a shirt look wet with sweat?

I've tried all kinds of things, including gloss spray and varnish, but everything just absorbs into the material. Any advice is appreciated!

Oh that is a lovely line-up for display.

Thanks Darran. I appreciate it.

I use Liquitex gloss varnish for simulating sweat, drool on skin, headsculpts etc.

For material, you can try baby oil. I used that for a Halloween costume a few years ago, worked great. For 1/6th stuff, I usually just water down paint.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

I have that varnish for head and skin, and yes it works great. I've never tried baby oil. Is it considered a temporary solution or does it last? Does the oil eventually evaporate or leak downward over years? I have a shirt to make sweaty but I wouldn't want the oil to move down to the pants over time.

I did ultimately use water-down paint to create the look of water pooled on material... but when it dries you lose that "wet" quality.

Not sure exactly, it was just an idea. I will try to think of something else.

Jealous!

I have Cody on preorder with both Durasteel and Beskar (Deluxe) Mando. I just got the R1 regular Deathtrooper, so I could get that huge rifle. Oh yeah, I also have the deluxe Leia and Wicket set on preorder.

I won?t get any of it till late January and early February though. [emoji17]

Thanks guys!

Thanks to "Mando", we may now get another shot at a Shoretrooper.

Cody is a nice figure, but the design on the right forearm is absolute s***. It easily falls out. Oh well. Hopefully will have some time this weekend to find a solution to that problem.

Congrats on your prizes. Sorry to keep hearing about this right forearm issue.

Let us know how it works out.

Wor-Gar, I am curious to know how the baby oil worked out as well.

Well, unfortunately the oil dried right up. Not sure if it evaporated or just seeped into the material so much that it disappeared... but the oil left no sign on t-shirt material after just two days.

I tried it twice to be certain. Used regular vegetable oil as well.
