Great stuff in this thread and I shall be heavily ripping off.....er , I mean , seeking inspiration , from a lot of it ! :lol

Cheers man, if you need anything else let me know. Im happy to help out.

I just need to find some free time so I can work on some stuff. Tis the season to be busy I suppose.

Diggin the work on Woof, Chaka! Did your Solo head arrive okay?

Love these guys too! Also, the bags of bits thumbtacked to wall is genius! Definitely going to try that from now on.

Thanks Mando, I appreciate it. Yes, I did get the Solo head. Its fantastic. I forgot to PM you and let you know it arrived safely, sorry about that. :)

Im looking forward to redoing Wooof. He is one of my favorites. I need to do some work to the Duros' and then they will be ready for my Cantina shelf.

I have so many bits and parts I forget what I have sometimes. I just wanted to be able to easily see what I have without digging through boxes and boxes of stuff. I started pinning stuff to the wall and it just kinda went from there. Its not pretty, but it works for me. :)

I recieved Jessica's fantastic Djas Puhr and Labria headsculpts today. They are really, really well done.

I also got Mando's Han sculpt, Im really looking forward to painting it up.

Thanks again to Mando and Jessica!! Good stuff! :clap :clap

Wow , they look the business ! I've got a taste for these "background character " sculpts , I think that's going to be my "thing" for 2013 .:clap

Obviously not finished, but here is a WIP picture of Labria.

I may change the eyes so he is looking to the side as he did in ANH.

If you guys were on the fence about picking this guy up, dont hesitate.
Jessica did a super job on him. :)

awesome sculpts from monkey girl.........:lecture

and Chris you may have to update the shelf pics again before too long.....:)

So awesome!!

I dry brushed a black-green paint on my Djas Puhr to bring out some of the details. Then the dull coat knocked it back down.

My Devaronian is in route to me.

<...I'm always learning from the masters...> :exactly:

Thanks man. Thats a good idea using a dark green. I sprayed mine flat black and sealed it in dullcoat tonight. Im going to let it sit overnight and go back in and do the details and drybrushing.

I just need to find me a POTA Gorilla soldier vest/jacket. So far, no luck.

Thanks guys! I will try to take some better pics soon. :)

Chaka, those skiffies all look great!
Awesome job on the clothing.

Nathan

Thanks Nathan, I appreciate it. I am in the process of reworking a few of them. I hope to get to work on them over the holidays.

I started putting together Labria's outfit. SSC Anakin Skywalker tunic, Hasbro Vader cape and Hasbro Garindan's shirt collar. Still sort of a mockup. He is coming along though...

I plan on more painting and futzing as well. :)

Thanks. :)

I get all my headsculpts from Duane and Jessica. They are members here and always offer stuff up for sale in their threads, you just got to ask them. :)

As far as outfits go, I get most of my parts and clothes from Toy Anxiety. I usally then go from their and make my outfits from scratch using old tee-shirts and leather bits.

I would love to paint some stuff up for you, but I dont even have time to paint up and do all the stuff on my workbench at the moment. Between work, a wife and a two year old, free time is at a premium.

I appreciate the compliments. Im sure there are a few peeps on here who would paint some stuff up for you. They are also much, much, much better at it than I am. :)

Nice work on the horns and skin tone Chris! I was just reading Labria's backstory on Wookieepedia. So amazing. Once you know about the guys' it's so much more fun to work on them.
