I just read where a company will be bringing about 12" Veronica Mars figures. All well and good I suppose but how is it that the Charmed ones were never able to grace our mantles? They would be great company to the Buffy and Angel pieces as well as some of the Universal Monsters and even the Majestic Dark Shadows figures.
Sideshow? Any chance?.....

I'll ask you the same question I asked my ex many times, how can you watch that crap?

Where's the info on Veronica Mars? I fear it's a Barbie type thing, but I love that show!

Do you know what company's doing Veronica Mars?

I'd love to have 12" Supernatural and Smallville figures.

I'm not sure why Charmed never received 12 inch figures...maybe because there aren't that many characters they could do, same as the two shows I want above. I only ever watched some of the first season of Charmed. It never kept my attention.

Speaking of Majestic....I'd like to know if they're actually continuing their DS line.....it doesn't seem like it. :(

Don't know I think I'd buy Charmed 12" figs if they made them. My girlfriend watched my Buffy and Angel dvds if I'd watch her Charmed ones and I actually think it's a fairly good show. Not on par with Buffy or Angel but close enough and popular enough to have figures of.

Which show are you referring to? Veronica Mars is definitely not crap. Charmed I really can't comment on as I have never seen an entire episode.

Have you seen the stars?? Thats how I can watch it.

I believe this was the link:

A company named "Cinequest" will be involved.

I also read where Hasbro will be making "Mego" like clothed super heroes for $14.99. Unless they're built on old Joe bodies I didn't see much use for them if the unis aren't stretch fabric.

I've never seen Veronica Mars, but from the commercials it doesn't look bad. I probably would've liked it if I were still in high school.

I've seen more than I've ever wanted to of Charmed. I don't care how hot the actresses are, nothing short of full frontal could get me to watch that show.

Unfortunately my fiance has recently begun to TiVo Charmed and it comes on 4 times a day, and I seen something like 2 seasons within the last month. Ugh:monkey4 ....:monkey4

The early seasons were actually quite good. It, unfortunately, was not one of the shows to quit while it was ahead and got into some inane silliness during the latter seasons.
Regardless, figures of Charmed characters, as well as those from Supernatural, would make most welcome additions in the 1:6 world.
I am curious now though, Darth Loki, what type of shows you consider decent viewing?

Yeah, same here. My fiance watches that show almost everyday and it's actually not that bad. I made a deal with her to watch them if she watches BSG

My TV viewing has diminished considerably the last few years. The only shows I currently watch regularly are

LOST
Sopranos
Family Guy
It's Always Sunny in Philly
South Park (try to anyway, always missed it when Invasion was on)
I loved Invasion but that got the boot and I watch some sports.

Since I got Netflix I watch a lot more movies and I'm also on a video game kick so there isn't much time for TV. I love sports so that also will take up a lot of my viewing time. Haven't decided if I'm going to work for the Ravens or not this year, but that kills my Sundays.

Charmed PFs would be awesome, but I doubt they would ever be able to get the likeness of Prue licensed.....

As always, no interest in 12" what so ever.

.

Well, I agree with you on Lost and Invasion. Although how Family Guy or South Park could be chosen over Charmed befuddles me to some extent.

Well they could definately make a few figures in a Charmed line
Various versions of the first three:
Phobe (with the accessory of the Book of Shadows)
Piper (with the Hallowell family Spirit Board)
Paige (with a crystal and map of San Fran. for scrying)
possibly Peru.
Leo
Belthazor/Cole (demon version)
Cole
Grams
Angel of Death
the Demon of Fear
Wyatt
Chris
etc.

For those of you that might be interesed...

Back in early 2005 Sota Toys discussed the possibility of producing a series of 12" Charmed figures. This bit of news turned up in either Lee's or Tomarts.

I thought I remembered hearing something about that, but apparently nothing ever came of it.

Didn't they also have plans for 12 inch Alias figures at one time, too?

Does anyone make Charmed headsculpts in 1:6 scale? I know I can get a Brenda noggin and add it to Sideshow. I'd like to get my kids all the sisters, for Christmas. They'll be in nursing homes, by the time licensed figures come out.

Charmed was plain bad, it hurt my eyes! I can't wait to see VM figures, but I'm afraid too they end up doing crap... if it's not Sideshow... it's probably crap.
