His hair style is sculpted around the "War of the worlds" movie, he was also older and a tad chubby faced. This is not done yet, I still need to tweak some details.

I also plan to mod this into Vincent from "Collateral" and Algren-San from "The Last Samurai", 3 of his best movies IMO.

:p

Great sculpt but I think so he looks like very older.
Don´t worry dude I can see the likeness.

Hmmm i see a lot of likeness yet the face structure looks too chubby and too old

Haha, yeah I sculpted him to look a little older and chubby, he was kinda like that in those movies like I mentioned. It's kind of a mix of the 3 XD

I guess I went a little over board with the old and chubby-ness ? :dunno . He was indeed chubbier in Collateral, gonna whip out the dvds and the references again and take a second look, maybe it's the picture?... anyways, haha :peace

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #221~

I think if you can re sculpt the mouth area or smooth a bit.
Anyway the eyes and nose are perfect to me.

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #221~

Looks great but I agree with everyone else, he looks just a bit too chubby. Definitely interested though!! Fantastic sculpt though, it's screaming with quality. You really are becoming a top sculptor and painter on these boards!!

i agree looks good

Thanks guys. I'm fixing the chubby-ness XD

The sculpture is fantastic, but he's looking much older. I think a sculpture of the Collateral would be a great idea

This has nothing to do with sculpting or bashin, YET, but I came up with this random design . His ring name is T.O.R.O, which stands for his actual name Tarcisio Onofredo Rossetto Oliveto. He lost his left hand and left eye in a fight with a bull, later he went back and killed the bull and used one of his horns as a weaponized prosthesis.

I plan on making a 1/6 scale figure out of this personal design. I would need to modify a body and then sculpt the head and everything that is needed. Hopefully, if this comes out as I expect then I hope to keep plasticizing my designs :p .

All the design ideas I have for these are of course random in nature, but with a common theme, "cool and crazy designed fighters in UFC style matches".

"Millennium Fighting Championship Unlimited" is where these kinds of matches are hosts.

I hope to keep my word on it, I'm full of sheet when it's something for myself, haha.

Anyways...

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #221~

Look forward to seeing that ^

BTW

Got my Falcone head - it is awesome in hand!! Pics as soon as I get some clothes for him, so what did we decide were the best options again?

Oh and I got a free head cast voucher :D :yess:

Would love to use it towards any future Batman related stuff :)

You got it ? good news then. Glad you liked it, and you also got the coupon, haha nice!. I sent 2, now I need to know where the other one went to, haha.

As for Falcone's recipe, this is what I used for mine, IF you want to make the Bar Scene Falcone that is:

Tie as close as it can be: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330539736139&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Creme colored suit: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120731229848&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT . One thing to notice is that the suit isn't as big as the picture on the auction shows, it's quite tight fitting somehow, so there is kind of little room for padding if you are using a regular tt, and also the suit's fabric is quite thin, so you might "see through" in a way. Also the set does not come with shoes.

There is also the asmus suit: https://cgi.ebay.com/1-6-Asmus-Toys...891?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4158c2d583 . But don't know anything about it, it looks good tho'.

And this is the only pink shirt I've found that looks as close as the movie: https://cgi.ebay.com/ACI-Toys-1-6-M...304?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0b32e858 . They used to sell only the shirt for $12 or something.

As for the body I use a regular TT I had lying around.

I think my next Batman project would be Gambol, Maroni or Zsaz, but I'm undecided.

:peace

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #221~

Oh man GAMBOL FTW! Would be perfect for my planned mob scene dio :yess:

Also Maroni :p

Just do them all lol

Thanks for the recipe - I will do some research this weekend and get my outfit bits :)

Flash Point Donnie Yen. Nothing fancy, just something I worked on today:

The headsculpt is a random head I picked up a long time ago on ebay, don't know who sculpted it. It was the only one available before Enterbay's Ip Man announcement, might update the head with Headplay's Donnie Yen and sand the facial hair away, but for now, this is what I'll be using.

Paint: Me
Sculpt: ???
Body: TTL with repainted hands
Jacket: ACI Toys
Shirt: Loading Toys
Jeans: Loading Toys
Boots: repainted by me

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #235~

Cheungkinmen, I dropped you a pm about possibly commissioning a sculpt. Let me know what you think.

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #235~

Really nice work. He kinda looks like an Asian Nic Cage. I mean that in the best way possible. Seriously. Again nice work.

LOL, he kinda does, haha. Thanks man.

Replied!

Zsasz! Zsasz all the way!

Gambol and Maroni are cool, but they're just men in suits - and they don't have the importance to the Batman mythos (and the Nolan movies) that Falcone did.

Zsasz, on the other hand, is a bona fide Batman rogue, even though he was just a cameo in the film. And the scars, the knife, and the Arkham outfit would make a much more visually appealing figure than another mobster.

(Speaking of which, I just perfected the preparation and dying process for my red Arkham jumpsuits. It takes a good while to get them ready, which is tedious, but I think it ends up looking pretty good. I'll have a few extras, and would gladly send one to you to use for your own Zsasz figure - perhaps for a discounted price on a Zsasz headsculpt?)

Other than Zsasz, if you're thinking about Batman characters to challenge yourself with, you should consider a Michael Caine Alfred. A notable actor, and character, I bet he'd be more fun for you than someone like Eric Roberts. Plus, the only other headsculpt I've seen is under-sized for 1/6 figures and always looks too small on a body.

Thanks for the suggestions, man. I take 'em into account. And I'd love to see those jumpsuits! Might be interesting :wink1::hi5:
