Re: [Cheungkinmen's Workbench] ~ (From sculpting to painting) ~UPDATED POST #815 - #8

yea Maglor he is swamped which is a shame for a lot of us, I should have gone with my gut from the start when trev told me to, and then kicked myself after I saw the work he did on the same sculpt I was going to have him do afterwards. Definitely regretting it now and probably always will. Damn good work though, the Walter White gives me chills how realistic he looks. Everytime I see a Walt I can tell who painted it. Keep up the good work JOhnny!!

haha, these are all sculpts that have been here for quite some time, I still got another bunch to finish :S . :slap

I wrote that after I did a recount and I almost _____ my pants, haha.

So you do plan on taking new commissions again some time in the future?

Sorry for answering for him but im certain he will accept commissions after he gets other projects out of the way. I've been talking to my main man JOhnny and he's incredibly busy even without these commissions.

Thanks for the kind words, man. :1-1:

Oh for sure, I will, after I finish the other bunch of sculpts I got here, I will be working on a few projects that are in line, Gambol being one and then another big one, so maybe after those. :thud:

I`ve got plenty of heads ready for when you open up again! Nice work on this last batch, really like the Durden.

Johnny was I right though about that being the difference in the look of the paint on the sculpts on the lines inbetween the eyebrows that that one had the lines and area around it shaded compared to the others that are just painted skin tone giving it that darker kinda creepier look?

:exactly: , darker shade makes a creepier look.

i'll definitely be ready, hopefully Trev will have completed a few other sculpts he is going to make and other bashes I want to do. Just need to get my head sculpt of my serial killer done so this one can be completely done, have everything but it, sucks to have a headless bash with everything else, including the exact replica 1/6 version of his kill knife which is awesome.

I have my unpainted killer head without everything else, haha.

need to get on the accessories for him lol. i wouldn't suggest spending $120 on Kato's pants when you can buy his exact pants he currently wears off ebay for only $20 and look awesome and exact to the actual ones he wears and i own. huge savings there. then ofcourse $70 for the henley and your choice of gloves...could go with the captain america gloves and paint them black and DID brown boots they sell on ebay. and presto...he's done. But if you need accessories for him, robbiethepainter has the syringe for $40, or if you want a knife, my friend makes a simply amazing 1/6 version of his kill knife, looks exact to the real one on the show and just like my 1:1 replica version he sells for $75 and is made out of the same material the real knife is. simply a beautiful piece. Unless you want to sell your head and i give you mine? lolol (i wish)

^^^ haha

Both Jimmy McNulty and Jigsaw AND Michael Jai White are next. Need to mold them and cast :S . I was so busy with painting work that these had to be put on hold.

I'll make them available sooner than later.
