Been looking for a good Chow sculpt for years so when I saw the set by Market Toys I jumped all over it. I don't want to start a huge discussion about the HS because as I stated it was kind of an impulse buy and now I have it so I figured I should use it. The original figure came on a BBI G3 or 3.5 body (I can't tell them apart) and came in the de rigeur black suit for these figures. I can't tell these companies apart but it is the exact same suit that came on my Dr. Figures Bond Craig Bond. The suit fit the BBI body pretty badly so i swapped it out for a Soldier Story S2 body right away. Then I did a little research and watched some of the movie on Youtube (didn't have a copy at that point) and decided I could throw together the outfit he wore in the shootout at the end pretty easily.The coat is a green Dragon overcoat I dyed navy blue, the shirt is an old SOTW one I had and the pants I bought off eBay. The shirt was short-sleeved so I cut them off and rolled them up in the coat cuffs. The shoes came with the original figure so I kept them. I didn't have a mini Uzi with a collapsible stock but I found a pic of Mark on IMFDB with a Beretta and a Browning Hi Power so I stole Indy's Browning and there you have it. May weather him a little in the future after I have time to watch the whole movie.
I am going to use the other head from the set for a Hard Boiled figure when the clothes come in the mail. Again, I don't want to get roasted for buying the set. I bought the set then thought about the HS. I just liked the way it turned out. Oh and the flash must have picked up the threads in the coat. You can't see any difference in person
