It’s on one of my Frankensteined Vader bodies. I believe this one consists of a HT Genesis-like waist down to the thighs, modified OT Vader inner chest rig and arms, rubber chest overlay (Zod or Arnold) with and extra layer of chest padding, and OWK Vader shins (they just pop right in)
HT ESB Chest armor with the shoulder bells reattached so they sit just under the armor.
HT Belt and Cod (still need to add the lip).
HT OWK boots with ESB shin armor.
SSC suit, robe and cape. Chest box with added leather straps.

Anyone else have trouble putting the OWK boots on the ROTJ body? Seems the bodysuit is much more loose around the ankles as compared to the OWK one.
Remember to swap the shinguards back around after swapping boots, they are different and accurate to the figure they come with.

Does anyone know how to modify the position of the chestbox of the vader rotj mms700? I have the chest box too separated from the chest armor.. would it be possible to get a real leather suit for a hottoys mms700rotj or esb 40 year old figure?

I purchased the Sebastian Shaw headsculpt from this Vader from Monkey Depot. I have the Vader from the Vader/Tarkin 2-pack. Does anyone know if it's easy to put the robes that are in front of the chest armor behind the chest armor so I can alternate my ANH Vader between ANH and ROTJ? I know the buttons are different on the box, etc. but I'm not concerned with that, just the robes and chest armor.

Very easy. Just pop the belt open from behind the belt buckle, then you can easily get to the inner robe

ANH Vader turned into ROTJ Vader. MMS699/700 headsculpt from Monkey Depot.

Has anyone been able to pose him with his arms crossed like the ending to Revenge of the Sith? I’m afraid of breaking his arms and not sure which type of hands would fit such a pose.

Does anyone have a spare unmarked dome for this figure? My dome arrived with rub marks and the Hong Kong seller cannot get me a replacement.

Finally got another USB cord long enough to have Vaders chest and belt lit up. Also a new CATHODE saber but waiting on an adapter piece to plug into Vaders pack in the back. Then my Vader is complete. Crazy how far we have come in this hobby. I remember getting the first Sideshow Vader and being happy that we finally had a "great Vader" in 1:6. And HT Star Wars was still a pipe dream.

And they won't catch up to Too Much Garlic's Vader for another 20 years.

When TMG finally starts selling full printed sets (which it seems like we're finally within the year that will happen) we will finally get eerie-real Vaders and all the HT figs will be turned into the placeholders the SSC Vaders were before them.

I do really like this ROTJ figure but the helmet, while a substantial step forward over the ESB version, still feels like a slightly "toy-like" 1/6 helmet and not that great/eerie feeling "shrunken down screen character" like the small number of truly sublime 1/6 figs delivers.

It's clear after all these years that delivering a sublime figure really requires the level of knowledge and obsession people like TMG have.
