... Also check the hole to make sure nothing is jammed in there interfering..blow it out or poke something in there.
I had to remove some debris to get mine to sit flush.

Guys...does this look right? I've exerted about 40 pounds of pressure trying to put his foot into a peg and this is the best I got. It's still showing the peg. To take it out...I almost go red in the face pulling on his foot. It's beyond tight... I mean....I have to use my whole body weight while holding my breath trying to push this in and this is what I got.........
Is this normal or do I have an issue.....?

Thank you guys. I am gonna try and shave the peg down a bit....if I can remove it from the stand that is. It's stuck there so badly that I am afraid of damaging the statue with all my excessive pulling.
I know people have already said u have an issue, but I thought I would reintegrate by mentioning that the boot should be flush against the stand with no space at all.
Up to you bro but personally I would contact Sideshow for a replacement. Guess it all depends on how much it bothers u.
Those groin marks are supposed to be there. Other than a few minor imperfections I'd say you got a good piece.. nothing to worry about.
Ok, wasn't sure about that. Thanks Cyber!
New cape arrived today, looks perfect. Had some issues with the wires poking through the fabric flaps that hide them.

The new cape still had the same issues?
Some of you guys may remember me from two pages back, I am the guy with the huge gap between the foot and the base of the statue. After some of your recommendations, I was able to loosen up the hole and clean off the metal peg little bit. What do you guys think?
It does take a lot of force to insert the statue in or take it out, but it has gotten better since I loosened it up. Also, I can still see a tiny gap as you can see from the photos below. Other than this issue, the statue and the base is pretty much perfect, which is why I'm trying to make this work. So what do you guys think, is this how it's supposed to be or do you still recommend an exchange?
Only thing that sucks is while cleaning up the inside of the peg hole, I scratched it all up. I doubt that's a big deal though since that part of the statue is literally NEVER visible. What do you guys think?
Here's your other angle which shows the biggest gap. ..my lighting isnt the greatest but it should give you an idea of where it should be. If it were my statue I'd probably ask for a replacement, if the replacement has issues then decide what to do.. keep the better of the two.. or keep asking for replacements until youre happy or they tell you NO!! lol.
Thank you for all the pics, that helps a lot! I was under the impression that to get a replacement, the original one must be returned first. Am I wrong about that? Do they send out a new one while you're still in the possession of the first one?
