Christian Bale Headsculpt Commission Thread

I am sure a lot of you have seen the Christian Bale 1:6 headsculpt that wofford29 commishioned Andy Bergholtz to make and was wondering how many of you would be interested in chipping in to have Andy make one for us. The more people that are interested the cheaper it will be.

Below is a picture of wofford29's headsculpt which was painted by Les.

I'm not sure how this would work out? I mean we still need someone to recast it, and who gets to keep the original or molds?

If I remember correctly, andy said he doesnt like dealing with group orders or castings coz it gets complicated. i could be wrong.

I had asked Andy awhile ago about someone else commissioning the same person and his response was "I can assure you that it would be a whole new sculpt, and not a re-hash of the portrait I do for you."

Andy doesn't take commissions very frequently and discussion of price won't be allowed in this thread for privacy reasons.

Before anyone gets excited about this - I would suggest a PM to Mr. B to find out if this is even remotely feasible.

I sent Andy an email and am just waiting to hear back.

I thought if we had a thread with a list of people interested that it would help with his decision.

Here is the one we may see from Longbow in the near future. The same group that did the Hanks. The sculpt isnt even done yet and in those pictures and it looks pretty good.

I just got an email back from Andy and he very nicely declined our project, one of the main reasons was that he no longer does group commishions and is a little "Bale'd out".

Ah thats too bad, I can understand where he is coming from, it would have been awesome though!
