hey wofford, checked the UK prices for 1lb shipping - it came to about $22. is it really going to cost this much? if you say yes, i'll send the money right away, but i'm thinking it shouldn't be this much. ta in advance.

If you send it in a padded envelope it would be less than five U.S. dollars.

Padded Envelope? Risky for this kind of sculpt....it'll be so detailed that envelopes can be smashed. The Craig sculpt I received from Andy was in a little box and then inside it was wrapped multiple times in bubblewrap.....as detailed as these get I wouldn't have preferred it any other way. I'd hate for someone to say envelope only to have it damaged in transit.

padded envelope?

r u crazy?

Not even the word "FRAGILE" written on the envelope is gonna save that head.

Um......the USPS would find a way to smash a Steam Roller before delivery. I also DO NOT want mine sent in a padded envelope.

I've had resin heads sent in padded mailers w/o issue. Sure a box is better, but padded envelopes will usually do the trick.

Okay guys, I'm back from NY. Had lots of fun. The Metropolitan Museum of Art had an awesome superhero display setup. Among the screen worn suits they had was the new suit Christian Bale wears in the Dark Knight. It looked awesome.

To answer a few questions, if you are overseas and want a padded envelope, I can certainly do that for you. However, please understand I will not be responsible for handling these once it leaves my hand. If anyone has any special shipping instructions just email me at [email protected]. My pm box is about 96% full and I don't want to delete any of the pms with previous requests in them.

As soon as I get another update from Andy, I'll post it here. Thanks.

UPDATE: 6-2-08

Alright guys it's getting there. Andy just emailed me an update. He's feeling better and up and running again. He said there is only 6 more heads to cast and then he has to run the neck posts on the belt sander. He said hopefully they'd be shipping this week.

I guess if someone ends up cancelling theirs, you might be able to get one, but there are probably a few folks ahead of you.

Any updates on these? :joy

Update: 6-09-08

Just recieved an email from Andy. The project is complete, and the heads should be shipping to me by mid week.

Thank you everyone for your patience, and thank you Andy for fitting this massive undertaking into your very busy schedule!
