It is just the parts put together as a quick mock up, pose and everything will change. Have to say though, I wasn't sure about a new T-800 design, but it looks pretty cool!!

but we already knew what the pose was going to be........and there is no way a base that small could hold the Endo in that pose.

W/E...

Anyway, Things change. That pose would be hard to pull off on any base.
Has it been confirmed that's the pose for both 1:4 & 1:1?

At first it was "Terminator 3 can't be THAT bad".
Then it was "Salvation can't be worse than T3".
Now it is "Genisys can't be worse than T3 and Salvation".
Fingers crossed :D

Do you think Salvation was worse than T3 Mule? I'm not sure, I guess it's a close call at any rate, I haven't seen Salvation in quite a while but I can clearly remember just how rubbish T3 was, I'll stick the blu ray in soon.

I thought Salvation was better than 3 easily. It actually had a lot of cool, new designs.

The new designs in TS was good, but overall I didn't really like the story in places. I have zero desire to ever see it again on top of that. T3....yea, it sucks too. I guess if I had to choose TS would be a more desirable re-watch.

Salvation had Ironside... End of debate ;) I'll watch it again tomorrow, I thought it was okay up until an obviously cgi Arnie came out though from what I remember.

I might be crazy, but I actually liked T3 WAY more than Salvation. :dunno

Sure T3 had its goofy moments, the glasses/talk to the hand thing, :slap but to me it felt more like a Terminator movie having Arnold in it, getting to see some pretty cool action scenes like the truck/crane chase scene, the fights with the T-X. Not to mention it was more brutal with some things like the T-X punching through that guy's chest to take the wheel. :horror

I even liked how it ended with them having to accept the fact that Judgment day is inevitable, to accept that he was never ment to stop it, just to survive it.

I only watched Salvation once in the theaters and was so bored with it I can barely remember anything about it. (I Actually forgot Ironside was in it until you mentioned it Python, lol). He does make everything better though. :duff

The only thing I remember liking in Salvation was Anton Yelchin as the young Reese, I really think he knocked that out of the park and he put a smile on my face a few times in the theater as I seem to remember him picking up some of Biehn's mannerisms. I could totally see him growing up to be the Reese we all remember.

In fact, I wish they had made the whole movie about him and not that dull and boring Marcus character. I think that would have been a much more interesting movie. I actually like Sam Worthington, but I just remembered not getting into his character at all. Wondering why this story is even following him when we should be following Connor or Reese.

So much of Salvation was a major misstep to me that I've never had any interest in revisiting it.. ever again.

I really think in retrospect, Salvation made me appreciate T-3 way more as a decent entry into the Terminator storyline. Maybe I'm nuts. Lol

T3 turned John Connor into a *****. Claire Danes kicked more ass than he did lol. That movie is a joke.

I'm still trying to stay optimistic about Genisys, lol. I know so many are certain it will be terrible but I just don't know yet. In my eyes it's already better than Salvation just because it looks and feel more like the first few movies, the nostalgia of seeing things from the first two movies show up. The look of the future war setting, the purple blasts from the guns.. The look of the battlefield. Already looks better than Salvation to me there.

I know, the new actor as Reese is hard to get past.. But for the story and setting I understand why they couldn't just get Biehn back.

One other way I think it's got Salvation beat so far is the improvement on the digital Arnold.

Keeping in mind this is an early shot and still has time for work like color correction and enhancement, I have to say I think it looks pretty solid for a completely CG Arnold.
I'm really curious to see this moment play out, what will happen when that T-800 comes through and finds another T-800 waiting for him... I'm intrigued and I'll be there opening weekend hoping for the best.

Plus from a collectible stand point, if nothing else Genisys might help provide some great classic Arnold pieces for fans. Chronicle had mentioned they have access to Legacy's digital files for their products and will be producing some 1984 T-800 statues/busts.

If you know anything about how Legacy got the digital Arnold to look so dead on, it pretty cool. They had access to the life-casts that Stan Winston took of him for the original movie, they actually scanned that to use for the digital FX. So Chronicle will have the ability to make pieces capturing Arnold's likeness as if they went back to 1984 and scanned his face themselves. That's pretty awesome when you think about it. :thud:
