I mentioned that they were supposed to ship my order in 4th quarter. What I got from the conversation was that since they're technically within their estimated ship date (from this month until end of December) theres no real good case for now. I will hold on to screenshots from my account and any other kind of record to present by the end of the week.
As you mentioned, the fact none of the employees has taken upon their self (gag order?) to calm the waters is the most alarming. Either they 1) stoped caring about their reputation or 2) are under some legal restraint. Either scenario is bone-chilling.
Can we file a fraud investigation claim collectively or something? There might be enough circumstantial evidence to get some legal help?
I would just call back, you'll prob get another person and just tell them they've canceled your order. Tell them you want a refund because they've gone bankrupt. Then they will try and contact Chronicle Collectibles to investigate and they will not be able to get a hold of them. Once that fails, they will issues you a refund.
This company is done for, you shouldn't be forced to wait. That's just what I would personally do. I wouldn't mentioned shipping time, just so they don't give you that argument again. There is no way this company is shipping anything, hell their selling what stock they had on Ebay now like the fraudulent pieces of **** they are.
