Even yours looks like a cartoon compared to that Sideshow Rex. No paint job that came out of the box is remotely close to being acceptable for the price.

The way I see it, SS Rex has a more detailed head and feet while the BO Rex has far more details in the rest of the body. Personally I prefer the more varied, detailed paint app on BO Rex and I also find its skeleton structure more shapely especially around the back and hips region. The entire back of the SS Rex is way too rounded and smooth, the dull paint app doesn't help either.
And I don't really agree on how it looks cartoony in comparison, perhaps the enlarged head due to camera perspective? Looks pretty life like to me.

There's gotta be something wrong with your BO Rex's paint job because mine's far more detailed and not as washed out, maybe it's your camera I don't know.

Yours looks worse. The contrast between the darker pigmentation and its base color is striking. The dissonance between the colors makes your look like a toy statue.

The SSC T. rex having a rounder body and less bone protrusions is based on researches that these animals had huge skeletal muscles and considerable amount of body fat. The JP T. rex is based on more outdated reconstructions, and actually looks kind of emaciated.

The BO Rex is anything but emaciated, tho the Rexy in Jurassic World is very much so and CC even did a side by side comparison with the two to show the difference. It's simply a very fit looking Rex with huge muscle bulges where they needed to especially in the thighs, calves, neck and boy does it have a thick tail. All been said, SS Rex definitely has a different approach in its design where the artist went for a super realistic and perhaps anatomically perfect look despite having no feathers :), I think it's down to personal taste, the slightly exaggerated look of JP Rex looks fantastic and muscly regardless. I'll definitely snatch the SS one sooner or later since I'm a huge T Rex fan.

Are there any good painters on here that can repaint my Breakout or do you guys now of artists that do commission work.

The original paint was very good, but came loose in some kind of way??

So decided to repaint mine.
This is how it looks.

Even did some water puddles on the ground :)

Looks really nice !
Can I ask where you got the High Voltage sign ???

Thanks. The High Voltage sign is exclusively made for the Film Freaks Only Netherlands Shop :)
Just 12 pieces worldwide incl. COA and numbering on the back of the sign.

I bought one of the scratch and dent T-rex's chronicle was selling for reduced price and sent it off for repainting.....This is how it should have looked all along. These are WIP pics, the painter Manuel Unda is incredibly talented.
