The paint does bring out the details a lot better than the chrome.

I think I like the paint from Chronicle because I can see the details in the skull. The chrome has too much reflection from everything around it that muddles the look of it.

I like the chrome look better for sure but I should be happy with CC's offering. Hopefully one day they will get to the chromed out endo.

At the end of this video you see the Original Endos(2:50 and 6:54)...the paintjob looks not so matt silver like on the CC skull to me.It looks more like metall with mirroreffects?

Some of Chronicles own shots make it look shiner than those in hand pics, it must need more light to get that effect possibly?

I don´t know...the endos in the videos looks more like painted with a real chromecolor like Alclad or something.
You can see that they are mirroreffects on the endo when Arnold is playing with it.

The bust from CC looks satin silver on the in hand pics.

Agree, the paint on the bust appears not the same as the screen shot endos. It was an important point why I haven't pulled the trigger on this piece.

Were the original eyes glass? I've been searching and haven't found any info. As far as I know the CC skull is accurate to the screen used endos. I did find this video with of a (huge) screen used T2 skull used for closeups.

The sculpt looks accurate, there's no way in hell the paint is.
