So a thread at Statueforum has an email from CMQ that they should be showing their Indy at SDCC.

I'm really hoping and praying SSC announces a 1/4 scale before I have to order the CMQ one.

That would be wonderful if Sideshow announces a 1/4 Indy. Or maybe it would be horrible, because Indy and presumably Boba would probably cause my credit card to spontaneously combust.
:chew
In case they don't...any word on how big or how much this other Indy will be?

Agent, cinemaquettes are 1/3 scale and depending on the complexity start around $1200 and go up.

I would love for SSC to do a 1/4 PF but I may still have to consider the cinemaquette.

BTW, that email Dave is talking about also stated that diehard fans would be in for some surprises because in doing there research they found some details pertaining to the costume that were never really seen on screen but that they will be including in their piece for accuracy.

Now that's awesome...but at 1200 up I'll sit this one out.

IMO an 1/3 scale Indy for $1200 for the quality of their Arnold would be awecore. We are still using awecore?:monkey5

I agree, but I know when you hit these prices it leaves a lot of collectors out of the running. Keep in mind though that they have not released a price as of yet, I just used the $1200 amount since that's what Arnold retailed for. I hope Indy comes in not much more than that.

I'll be getting this if it looks as good as Cinemaquette's other pieces.

$1200 is a lot of money but since there isn't any other Indy merchandise like this on the market ( HINT!!! HINT!!! SS!!:D ), I think alot of Indy fans will be forced to get this piece.

I would LOVE a Sideshow 1/4 Indy!!!!

If I had a 1/4 Indy, 1/4 Al Swearengen, 1/4 Johnny Cash along with my Bonds and Duke... my collection would be heavenly.

I hate to duplicate on certain characters but if there is one guy that I buy from SSC and Cinemaquette it's Indy.

How Atticus Finch beat Indy in AFI's greatest hero list I just don't know?

I'll hold for sideshow. 1/4 is plenty big/expensive already imo.

I've assumed for a while (no inside info) that this will be as good as done with Indy 4 about to ramp up for development.

I'll probably get a second as a gift for my Dad's basement theater -- to guard the Right-Hand side of the screen. PF Connery Bond has the Left-Side under good control. :D

Wow, I guess alot of people are assuming that SideShow will simply obtain the Indy license and make us some 12" and PF's. But we've been yammering for an Indy line for awhile now and we have yet to see one. Indy's on the top of my list too, but I'm not holding my breath for SideShow to come with one.

The Cinemaquette one will no doubt look completely awesome, but at those prices, I will only be able to watch and drool :monkey2

For a long time the Indy license was thought to be "ungettable" due to Ford's reluctance to have his likeness reproduced. But the fact that CMQ has obtained those rights makes it seem likely that other companies will be able to as well. It's a no-brainer to assume that SSC would be campaigning hard and heavy to do so, especially considering they have an established relationship with LFL.

I said a while ago that the Indy Cinemaquette would be mine but I have the same feeling many here do. It's just a matter of time till SSC announces an Indy license and SDCC is probably a good bet for it. I feel pretty confident we'll see at least PF Indy stuff soon if not 1/6th.
