Yes, currently town hall 7 about to max it out and I'm lvl 65. Very addicting game.

Do you have to buy gems to get ahead in the game? I asked because I've seen top players spend lots of money on the game.

I have not. But yes, the top players always gem. If a big patch comes out they typically gem the max out everything right away. When the king and queen came out I think the cost to gem them was around $1,100...Crazy, but people paid it..Supercell has sucked people in..My king is only lvl 3.
