Clear dome for ALIEN question

Ok guys, just curious here....What would happen if the creature from....ALIEN had the clear dome and the skull was visible. I guess Ripley would have spotted it in a instant after here strip tease...

The Alien in Alien does have a clear dome...it's cloudy in spots, but mostly clear...

The reason Ripley didn't see the Alien was because of how machine like it looked, even with the clear dome, it looks like part of the wall...

I sound like I'm the weather-man...

And they aren't all crazy in England...just most of them...
