I responded to this in another post but I'll say it again.

I hope that they completely keep us in the dark again. I hope that we won't even realize that it's the sequel until we see the creature on screen. I hope they keep some kind of first person experience in part two as well.

also J.J Abrahms had mentioned in a previous interview that the creature was in fact a juvenile or baby. and that his rampage was more separation anxiety than rage. so I hope that mean his mama is out there somewhere and is bigger and badder than him.

or like most sequels they will just screw the pooch all over the screen for 90 minutes

I really hope that we find out that Rob and Beth survived. From the look on the camera, it looked like NYC was nuked (although, I'm sure it's debatable); but I would like to see them again; if not just for Beth

Yes very true, but to me (the average person I guess) it was very confusing/hard to understand and for some reason I wasn't believing it. I hope they do it more straight forward in the movie.

Yes exactly! I loved the film and how it ended but if its to be whored out further in a sequel then I want some answers dammit!

For me, the most enjoyable part was that feeling of helplessness you had... And most of that was from the fact that you had no freakin idea what was going on. If this really happened, that would most definitely be the case, we would all just be running and wondering what the F just happened.

I'd be excited for a sequel, they should tell it from the military perspective this time... Would give people more answers and still give them drama from feeling helpless.

They hinted at that during the first movie. The scene where the camera guy (HUD!?) films another person also filming the event. They were talking about picking up the sequel from that point on with that camera guy and others.

God I hope not!! that was one of the worst movies I ever saw..

if I remember correctly, I had it on fast forward speed for most of it...
