Yup, thanks for the heads up. Got the missing piece in my 1/6 Joe collection (well, except for Crimson Cobra Commander, and I have no need for him).

Just hope that the order actually goes through. I remember the fire sale Hastings had for the Trooper (or was it the Officer) a few months back. I got an order confirmation from Amazon, but then received a cancellation notice from Hastings.

got to wait till friday to order mine . hope they still have him , hes the only trooper i still need.

at $50 i think its time to finally make that python patrol officer.

Is anyone intersted in swapping some gear? I would trade the black pouches and harness gear for the tan gear from the officer. Also want to trade the black cloth balacava for the red one.

PM sent to you.

$50 boo yahh. Thats a steal for the sniper. I already had one, but i couldnt pass another up at this price.

lol. shipping notices says that it will ship today, but don't expect it until Sept 7. I guess they have learned to be extra conservative with their estimates..

Got my shipping notice as well. Almost makes up for them cancelling my order on those $29 Cobra Troopers. Oh well, one Officer, Trooper and Sniper is a good enough security detail for Cobra Commander for now. Bring on the regular Vipers, SAW Vipers, Night Vipers and Alley Vipers.

Hope Hastings runs a deal on the regular Red Ninjas when they come out, too.

This is my first order from Hastings, and with the horror stories from the Trooper thread, I expected the worst. I received my Sniper from Hastings today. Amazon stated that it would be delivered between 8/20/10 and 9/7/10, a pretty big window, and it arrived a day early, to boot. It was packaged in a slightly larger shipper carton, not the accurate dimension cartons that Sideshow uses. The display box was in a plastic bag the same way Sideshow ships their 1/6 stuff, and a few air packs were in there to keep the figure from rolling around. So I was pretty impressed by the care they put in packaging. However, the display bow was damaged, with a heavy crease on one side of the package and a slight tear on the other. I have to admit that I'm one of those OCD types who want a perfect and unblemished display box, but at least the figure inside was pristine. All equipment was accounted for. Well done, Hastings. I would have preferred to pick up two extra Troopers to supplement the one I received from Sideshow when Hastings did their $29 sale, but a sniper at half retail ain't bad.

Hastings give great deals on the figures themselves. Don't expect a mint package though. That is part of the reason why they are cheap.
