Hell, I would be tickled pink if they ignored their policy and did another run of the Trooper they already released!

I would love a rerelease but I would prefer if they did a "deluxe" like the sandtrooper maybe different sets of gear or weapons would be cool.

Sold one of my troopers to another boardie. I was boxing him up and admiring the tailoring, the head sculpt, and the ungodly amount of magazines that he comes with for his AK. Really makes you wonder why Beachhead's load out was so light. Really one of the best efforts by Sideshow in this line.

It may just be me, but I really dig the Desert Troopers. Something about them just rubbed me the right way.

I got one; overall they're not bad. Weathering on gear is really nice.

I am really hit or miss with the desert troopers, some days I hate them so much because they stand out so much with my other cobra figures and some days I love them and wish I had a DIO made for them

I totally agree. I'll get rid of other SS Joes before my Desert Officers.

I'm bashing one now and using a Crimson Guard backpack for him. It looks great, but may try to spray on some "sand effect" to give it a used look.

Shipped? For the Trooper yes. The Officer you can find a bit cheaper.

Just picked up a couple more of these guys. Didn't get a great deal on them like did the last ones...but the price is coming back down some and I got them for about retail cost. And I am hoping that they are brand new. Getting them from a dealer...but one who also sells stuff they get from collectors. I'll see when they arrive.

5 for now. I want a few more...but I always wait to get them at good prices. I think 8 will be good. A few of them I want to swap gear with the Snipers again to make my Cobra "Cruel" Troopers and get back to the "Search for Duke". I have been getting some inspiration for that story again, lately.

I swear there was a few months where I lost my Dusty SSC shipper and box and I had no clue where it was. I finally found it last month doing some major digging through the Raiders archive of the Lost Ark.

LOL...When I was back in Cali for a few days a few weeks ago, I went to storage and noticed that a few of my stored Joes are missing. But I know that I just ended up burying them deeper in storage when I was going through it a while back. I'll get them out again when I am done with this project in Phoenix.
