The Brontosaurus (now called Apatosaurus) certainly fits the description 'colossal', being the biggest animal that walked the earth, and seems to match the footprints.

But how does it match the hint 'prey'? The Brontosaurus was a plant-eater.
Because of his size, he was not a likely prey. The biggest meat-eater living in the same area at the same time was much smaller and would be crushed by Bronto's defensive tail. T-Rex did not come into existence until millions of years later.
Of course in Jurrassic Park anything is possible, so from the movies point of view the T-Rex can be seen as a likely enemy with Brontosaurus as it's prey.

Exactly in Jurrassic Park it would be a prey, if thats the case you got to give it up to Sideshow for going such distances to try and stump us, using foot prints and such.

Those footprints do not look like anything from Jurassic Park at all, Bronto prints are predominately round.

Besides, they said it was a new license. So JP is out of the picture.

That said, I cannot figure this out. The tracks look very odd and unlike anything I have ever seen, and the "prey" tagline doesn't ring any bells with me either.

the background looks hide/skin. im saying a brontosaurus :lecture jp dio. those footprints maybe bird feet, they groomed the brontis, for mites etc; or am i just talking ^^^^ :lol im just trying to think outside the box

It is something to do with dinosaurs!

Dinosauria? Did they not sell enough on the JP license and call it Dinosauria now to avoid licensing fees? ;)

One can also hope that it means they got more Dino licenses. Anyone remember Dinotopia? This would make for a nice dio:

dinotopia. wasnt that a lame series created from a book. never heard of dinosauria though :huh

V-Rex? I doubt that's what they're hinting at. And they already put out some King Kong product including V-Rexes, right?

Let's be serious, is there anyone here that would actually buy a $300 statue of a Brontosaurus? I can't imagine Sideshow just making a random dinosaur and we know it's nothing to do with Jurassic Park. The photo is either something with three legs, or a something with two that walks like an idiot.
