Action Figure Colossus Comiquette Repaint/Modified

Hey Guys been awhile since I have posted anything I recently finished this up for a client

This was a complete repaint and i removed the lines in the face to give him the classic look It was painted with acrylics and Alclad
it took me a little time to get right I think it came out great I thought I would share.

Thanks the Client wanted me to remove the lines in the face
and he wanted the metal to have a more chrome look

but i will admit the stock paint is very nice

I am. I couldn't stand the excess lines in his face. It bothered me every time I looked at it. I actually think the original piece turned out great except for the lines in his face. After having Carl remove them and repainting the piece with a slightly more chrome look, I'm a happy camper. Thanks Carl!

I just had to weigh in on this, I personally prefer the filled in look over the original that SSC put out and I have this piece, still display it in that way just haven't customized him yet, that said a Good Job but when I read repaint I was thinking maybe someone had Chromed Him

Yeah, that's exactly how I felt when I received this piece back from Carl. Now it looks perfect IMHO. Much more comic accurate and far less Mr. ROBOTO looking. I have no idea what the sculptor or SS was thinking putting all those extra lines on his face. He never looked like that in the standard Marvel U.

Oh well, it cost some dollars but now I have THE Colossus Com I want. I'm very happy with it.

I like this version better than the one SS put out. I agree with Colossus though, this one needs to be chromed.
