As usual, not a big fan of the cloth uniform. I realize it's a PF and that is what is expected. I just wish SS would make the PF line 1/4 scale that often used mixed media but doesn't require cloth. There are enough statues where the use of cloth feels forced because it is a PF and the statue likely would have been better as sculpt only. Statues like Cyclops, Rogue and Gambit all have cloth accessories and it works. You can even remove them if you choose.

I am loving the Lord of the Rings Maquette line for this reason. More dynamic poses because they can sculpt the "cloth" to look the BEST.

I was looking forward to him having his torso fully sculpted like the other X-men PFs for consistency (Gambit, Rogue, Cyclops) or something like Black Panther PF, Bucky Cap PF, Cap PF, Spidey PF, Abomination PF, Thing PF etc. I guess the only upside is you can display him without his top but still no one know if he's fully sculpted underneath like PCS statues.

This is precisely what I've been trying to communicate to darren1228 The clothing on Colossus is truly an embarrassment for a "high end" collectable but as long as enough customers continue to swallow sub-par products for absurd prices, SS has no incentive to alter their current trend..I have to agree with that argument

What is there to communicate? It is of your opinion that it is bad. Did you not know the difference between opinion and fact? There are plenty of us that like it but you act as if your opinion is gold and Sideshow needs to listen to you.

Precisely why I cancelled her as much as I loved her...There is no way I'm paying over 300$ for a 1/5 comiquette. That would make me part of the current problem Thank you for raising such good points tonight btw

p.s. I think Madame Hydra is a terrible character and a waste of time. That's just my opinion though and I'm not going to go off about how Sideshow needs to pick more popular characters or their company is going to go under.

Was looking forward, but no way would I pay $400 for a PF. $349 is bad enough. I can see the price hike is in full force thanks to 1/6th figures increasing and now the legendary scale being at the ridiculously expensive 2k range. I guess 2012 will be the year of the $500 Vader PF.

What is it with the quality of bases lately too? The Tarkin base is boring. This one is, but I guess it matches the X-Men line.

Looks like he is wearing a thick sweater his Russian Grandma knitted for him.

Sideshow and their absurd cloth on statues policy has ruined what could have been the definitive Colossus statue, now it just looks like a over sized Mego doll.

I totally agree - for me the mixture of cloth and sculpture on all the PF's is a turn off - I want a sculpture not a hot toys/statue hybrid. Saying that I did pre on the Skaar PF but hardly any material on him so I can over look it or adapt.

Shame on this PF he's one of my favourite characters.

I'm another one that tends to not like these kinds of characters with too much cloth on the statues. I heavily dislike the Wolverine and Sabretooth statues. However, this statue, and also Psylocke, I like despite the heavy use of fabric.
